Today I’d like to talk about one of the trends we hear about these days a lot especially by getting close to wintertime and its velvet.

As you may have already known, Velvet is the new trend and it’s hot this season and you see them everywhere, accessories, skirt, dresses, blazers and so on. It gives the fabric a totally new luxurious chic look. The trend is so strong that I don’t think it is going to fade off anytime soon.

Velvet is used in fashion in different ways. We see some dresses all in velvet. You will find it in pants and shirt even with a jacket on top. You can use velvet dresses almost for every occasion.

Another cool trend is patterned velvet. The variety of patterned velvet is huge in the market. On surface patterns like burnt out, embossed and pre-pleats are making the look of the fabric stunning than ever. You can level up your look by wearing this trend on dresses, suits or pants and make a statement look.

You can check our boat neck fit and flare dress in burnout velvet, burgundy color and fully lined. It’s soft and lightweight, elegant with side pockets.

My most favorite of all velvet fashion trends is colored velvet outfits.

As we know Blue has been the traditional color of velvet dresses for years. Now, the rule has been changed and basically they make it with every possible color in the spectrum.

You can even mix the colors to come up with more appealing combos. For example, wear burgundy fur collars with a red velvet dress.

We have one more velvet dress that you will love and before we continue I’d like to describe it to you. It’s our pleated bust in straight cut fully lined dress, it has a double border and the color is hunter green.

Accent and Accessories:

You can keep the use of velvet to minimal buy wearing a velvet hat, gloves or even jewelry. I forgot to mention shoes, that’s perhaps the easiest and most effortless way to incorporate velvet.
