Today we want to talk about some ideas and tips for making the best choices in you are plus size.  Do not forget that just because a label shows a plus-size garment, it doesn’t meet it will fit you and you feel good wearing it. You must try it. There are styles that make you better than others. The important thing is to try the clothes, look at yourself carefully in the mirror and make sure you hide areas you don’t want to show off and highlight areas you want to show off.

Trousers

  • First, choose pants you are comfortable and do not eliminate your movements.
  • Choose a rather silky and wide model for better camouflage of your thighs.
  • High-rise suits you more and avoids at all costs the low-rise as it sabotages your look.
  • Invest in straight cuts.
  • Opt for long pants to lengthen your figure.

Jeans

  • If you have wide hips, opt for jeans that do not stick too much. The straight cuts (bottom of the jeans are the same width as the thighs) are your friends.
  • If you have a belly, your ideal jean is the one with a high waist that will camouflage your beads.
  • If you have thin legs, you can venture out with a skinny one if you wear it with a top that goes down on your buttocks.

Jacket, tailor or coat

  • Choose a jacket that minimally reaches your hips. If they are too short, they just let your belly appear. Be careful not to take it too wide. It must slightly hinge your size to better define it.
  • Choose materials that do not weigh down on your figures, such as a thick tweed or thick woolen fabric.
  • Leave your jacket open instead of squeezing yourself to close it. Wear a flattering top underneath and a long necklace.
  • When you buy a jacket, be certain that it is the right size at the shoulders so you do not look trapped and unable to move. If it's too small, you'll look bigger.
  • A straight and long jacket balances your middle.

Dress

  • Swing & trapeze dresses slightly bent at the chest and flared later give a sense of fluidity to your figure.
  • Empire waist dresses hide the belly.
  • V-necklines are preferred. The dresses at the bottom of the neck are more difficult to wear, especially for those who are small.
  • The wrap dresses emphasize your chest while creating folds around your belly that serve to conceal it.
  • The straight dresses can be worn with an asymmetrical jacket for a nice effect.
  • Look for women dresses with a light drape or folds at the belly. These allow you to hide what you do not want to see.
  • With larger dresses or tunics, add a wide belt on the hips to create a crease and camouflage effect of the beads.

Skirt

  • The straight skirts slightly above the knee are the ones that do the best for round women. Avoid wearing skirts that are too short and disproportionate to your figure.
  • The slightly flared skirts, a bit like in the 50s, can also be good for rounds.

Belt

  • Always put a belt on your hips rather than at the height of your waist so that the eye is not attracted to your belly.
  • If possible, opt for a belt of the same color as the garment on which it is placed. The effect is more beautiful and uniform.

Shoes

  • Opt for shoes with high heels to tone your legs and create the illusion that they are thinner and longer.
  • Avoid short boots or shoes with ankles that crush the silhouette.
