Since the first human decided it was a bit cold outside and put together a mammoth wool fur suit, blacks are at the forefront of fashion. To look cool is part of our expression and our creativity, so it is natural that we have created our own sartorial culture.

Although each person's personal style is different, there are some accepted standards that apply to all cultures, including categories of clothing. We all saw someone at the club who clearly wore church clothes or someone who wore an "outfit" outfit during Sunday morning worship. Although we know it when we see it, we decided to dive into the black dress choices a bit deeper.

4. School clothes

Again, this category has nothing to do with the school or the education system in general. School clothes can range from jeans to t-shirts, buttonholes, and khakis. They are worn daily in public.

Most adults wear school clothes to work in. Many churches allow parishioners to wear school clothes for service, but not in my church. We have a dress code. Deacons will not let you wear jeans or shoes with rubber soles (unless they are white, have a thick sole and you are a certified usher).

Even when a teenager wears "outfit" or church clothes at school on the day of the photo, he does not switch to "school clothes". The only exception to this rule is that, under certain circumstances, a set worn on the first day of school may be classified as an "outfit", making the first day of schooling the highest level of clothing. school.

Whites wear school clothes everywhere, even when returning home and to church.

5. Casual clothes

Honestly, I never really understood what it meant. How is the one dressed up relaxed? It's not a place like a school or a church; it's an attitude. How do I dress like an attitude?

Although the category is difficult to define, 98% of women will wear a denim jacket over their casual clothes. Casual women's clothing is also characterized by pockets. I do not know why, but women like when their clothes have pockets and talk about it as if the designer had discovered a new chemical element.

The linen short is the highest level of men's casual wear, while the summer dress is the ultimate casual dress for women.

6. Work clothing

Again, the name of this category may be slightly misleading because it has less to do with the workplace than with the dress code. Work clothes include Dickie's clothes, McDonald's t-shirts, police uniforms and anything a person would not wear if they were not at work.

For example, a pair of black Reeboks is workwear for all security guards and people working at Applebees, but these are school clothes for people who live in 1989. In fact, most people wear school clothes at work, except working at a high-level position as a lawyer, senator, press presenter or pimp.

They wear church clothes.

The highest level of work dress, regardless of profession, is indicated by the neckline. At McDonald's, the team leader wears a headscarf. The supervisor of the auto parts store wears a tie. The officer investigating the murder wears his badge around his neck. The manager of Walgreens carries a lanyard to allow the cashier to cancel an order. All black high school principals wear bowties.

7. Scrubs

Let's be honest, I'm jealous of nurses and all the people who wear scrubs at work. They look comfortable like fucking. Why are they the only ones wearing pajamas all day? It feels racist.

I believe that someday in the future we will live in a society where we can wear scrubs at work, school and at leisure. I dream that kids will wear their designer vest on the first day of school and that plumbers will not show their buttocks because elastic belts will keep their pants in place. I dream that one day, little white boys will not have to wear polo shirts where they should wear tuxedos and that little white girls will not have to wear Daisy Dukes that are seated in the back. I dream of an all-scrub company.
