The women 1940s vintage clothing faced a lot of challenges during the World Wide II. This was because all the available fabrics, their manufacturers and required labor were all needed during to supply men at war, hence the simplicity of the women fashion. They had their military collars changed to the round necklines, front buttons replaced with the wrap over style, with fuller skirts that had freedom preached again. One amazing thing about 1940’s vintage clothing is that it can be worn by women of all shapes and sizes.
